Shree Ganpatrajji has built the group from scratch. He came to Mumbai in 1967, empty pocket, but with just a vision & zeal to be successful. With no major educational qualification, only SSC degree, he did a job for eight years at a textile company. After that he started his own commission agency for textiles. Soon he expanded into trading & then manufacturing of fabrics.
The vision and foresight of Mr. Ganpatraj Chopra helped greatly in establishing the B. D. Group's presence since 1975 and he has nearly five decades of experience in the textile industry.
Mr. Chopra is the Chairman of the Group & is also associated with a host of charitable institutions.

Mr. Rajesh G. Chopra
Mr. Rajesh Chopra joined the group in 1998, after his commerce graduation. He immediately realized the need for technology upgradation at the manufacturing facilities of the group. Though being a commerce graduate, he took upon himself the technical aspects of manufacturing & under his able stewardship, the group embarked upon a gradual phase of technological upgradation and modernization, producing cotton fabrics of far superior quality than before. At B. D., quality did not rest on its laurels.
He injected fresh vigor into B. D. transforming it into a modern, industrial conglomerate. He has vast experience in the management of several industrial units and has been instrumental for the successful growth, backward integration and diversification plans of the Company.
Mr. Pankaj G. Chopra
Mr. Pankaj joined the group in 2001 after completing his MBA from New Castle University, U.K. He was the youngest MBA graduate from the esteemed university's history. Under his guidance, the B. D. brand became synonymous with fine quality cotton fabrics.. In its pursuit of excellence B. D. continues to achieve enhanced customer satisfaction through ongoing innovation. And happily the growth graph continues to rise higher...and higher.
His keen foresight and innate business acumen has enabled the B. D. Group to achieve soaring heights in the Indian and international markets. His personal vision for the group is to take the B. D. brand from being the most respected Indian brand to be amongst the best in the global market.
