Incorporated in 2003, this is the group's project for its core activity of weaving, a major step towards the group's strategy of backward integration. The plant was set up in Bhiwandi, one of the major power loom sectors of India. The project was in blueprint in November 2003 and started production in November 2004 that is in a record 12 months. The unit spread over a floor space of one-lakh square feet is the latest in technology. It has put up state of the art weaving preparatory machines and weaving machines, just in time to be prepared for the 2005 open textile policy. This is groups' vision and foresight to be prepared for the future.
The weaving preparatory consists of spun yarn Two-for-one twisters which are capable of twisting all spun yarns in cotton, polyester and blended at a speed of 14000 RPM and production capacity is one ton per day.
The latest in warping technology with fully and direct warping's makes the best quality beams for the weaving machines.
The L.P.G. operated yarn singeing machine is the only machine of it's kind in Bhiwandi and gives high quality singeing to yarns through naked flame and operating at speed of 1050 meters per minute. And finally, the latest in weaving technology to do justice to the best weaving preparatory. With 400 weaving machines under one roof, operating at high speeds of 220 RPM, it is a fully integrated concept of yarn to fabric.
